Improvised Slow Dance by Sondre & Tanya #video

This video was made during a small event, where we got invited by the grandmother of a childhood friend of Sondre. Funny, that in provincial Norway, anyone you meet can turn out to be a relative of someone you already know. The grandmother of a childhood friend organises meetings of pensioners in a nearby village called Lesja (40 minutes from Dombås). They play board games, chat and have lunch together. In the light of recent events, the main topic of communication has been war in Ukraine. That is why we got invited. People talk. Everyone knows that I am from Kyiv and that Sondre and I both lived in Kyiv before the war. We talked about what is happening in Ukraine, about our experiences and hopes, and of course we danced. There were three dances in total and this is just one of them - slow improvisation. It was so calm during this performance.

And while I was writing the description for this video, I remembered my thoughts of the last weeks. They are not related to this particular dance, but I would like to share them. Since YouTube limits the flow of thought by the number of characters, I will share it in the description of the next dance from this event.
