Added Thank you. My dog is a golden, and she is 10.5. Probably has a few more years, hopefully more. I watch this often. with tears in my eyes, every time. Bless you for this gift, the gift of the realization of what we have with this important part of our life, as we sit here in the office with her next to me, I'm indeed Blessed.

Added I know exactly what this is. It's beyond words. You feel as if your life has come to an end. I am now in tears as I remember over the years. .....all my children.....ALL of them. But I will see them again. I know this in my heart.

Added It was beautiful and sad. I had a dog like that. I rescued her and it was wonderful for 10 years. And then I had to say GOODBYE! It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I could never do it again. Mainly, I am getting too old and emotions are harder to handle. I LOVED LEXI WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL. I console myself by thinking I was lucky to see one of my dogs live to old age. Thank you for a beautiful video.

Added This one had me crying just after the first sentence. I just can't stop crying to take a dog, drive to a place and leave the dog in a plastic bag. I can't think the horror the dog had dying slowly until that man found it and took it home. My last dog died this past July 4th and I still can't stop crying for my dog and that dog in the bag. There needs to be a way that dogs, cats, and other animals who are not wanted should be able to be dropped at any pet store or vet place. But to do what this monster did is something I can't write here.

November 2023. Still grieving but we have many wonderful memories of our girl. I hope some day soon to get another rescue. This last dog was a black Lab and she was the best. I guess my take on this video was to reach out to people who really should take a dog that they can't take care of anymore for whatever reason to a responsible agency who will take care of the dog until they can find a new home. No animal should be left anywhere in a black plastic bag. Shame on them. We see stories every night on TV of someone who leaves a dog somewhere tied up with no food or water and can't even lay down. Its sickening. Thank you Mel for helping me remember how dogs can make you feel. This is a very special video. God Bless.
