Hummingbirds You Must See in Colombia Video
Description
My next adventure was back to Colombia to find more hummingbirds to photograph. Colombia has more species of birds than any other country in the world. Rogitama Biodiversidad is near the town of Arcabuco, Boyacá Department, Colombia, and is a pristine environment that has helped the critically endangered Black Inca hummingbird come back from the "endangered species" status. Other new species for me here were the Short-tailed Emerald and the Lazuline Sabrewing. This trip was recorded in November, 2019. My name is Carole Turek and I am on a quest to photograph every single hummingbird species on the planet! There are over 350 types and I currently have photographed more than 175 of them. Whether you are a hummingbird or bird enthusiast, a birding photographer, a general birder, or you just love nature, we have something here for you! Come with me virtually as I explore Central and South America to find the most beautiful hummingbirds in the world. ---
