I drink more plain water than anything else. That first 16 ozs washes down the medications and the morning dose of food supplements. My second drink of the day is roughly 32 ozs of "tea, Earl Grey, hot" with breakfast. I also enjoy my 16 oz of Diet Coke a day, with lunch, for the snap of the carbonation as much as the flavor.
Fun stuff, Mel. Thank you.
I drink my coffee in the morning to take all the pills I have to take. I have 4 vitamins I take every morning & 5 drugs, I drink 2 cups . Ay night I drink 2 or3 cups then to bed.
Well, I'm a little smarter. That's good. Now I "know" what happens to me biologically. That might be bad. I do brew 9 cups of coffee a day and walk away. Been doing it for decades and I can't say I feel any of that going on internally. Except for the "coffee in, coffee out". I'll have to "study" it longer. Going to set up the coffee pot for tomorrow. Enjoy the weekend everyone! Especially you, Mel.
WHAT HAPPENED TO VOLO AND VANGUARD? I REALLY LIKE THEM AND IF THEY ARE GONE I WILL UNSUBSCRIBE.
I'm down to 1 cup a day. It's good to know that I can have 3 more cups a day. Yay!
I've read that caffeine also helps sexually. Studies have shown that coffee drinkers have sex more often than non-coffee drinkers. This why I've de ided not to give up coffee drinking
When I was younger, I used to drink 2 to 3 pots of coffee a day and you're right--the more I drank the more energized I got only to have a sudden need to sleep. It was like a never-ending cycle of up, down, up, down. I finally stopped drinking coffee but recently I bought a new coffee pot and filling it to 3 is even too much in one day.
