A grizzly sow, known in Yellowstone as Beryl, had three new cubs of the year and was trying to get them across the Gibbon River before the water got too high. But, the cubs did not want to go and screamed at mom when she tried to lead them across. Being a good bear mom, Beryl turned back and returned to her cubs.
