Description
THIS stunning Chevrolet Bel Air has been the pride and joy of the same owner for more than 60 years. Grace Braeger bought the car for $2,250 in 1957 and never imagined she would still have it all these years later. Nicknamed 57 Lady, the Chevrolet continues to impress onlookers and its owner. What is the secret to its longevity? Grace said: “When it needs something, you take care of it. You replace it, you always try to keep it clean and you try to keep it waxed. And you go by the manual."

- Jeff Myers Added I noticed on the trunk lid the dealer script "King Braeger". The dealer is still in business on the south side of Milwaukee, and is now known as Braeger Chevrolet. I wonder if Grace is related to this dealership owner? Great car, and I will guarantee you that she doesn't drive it in during the winter months because of all the salt that is spread out on the highways
- BA Added Wow Mel: This is a classic even back as far as 1969 when I raced my 1968 GTO at the powder puff derby in NJ. As they say---thanks for the memories.
- mimi Added really nice car for a really special lady. if you're happy with the car - don't give it up - why would you!
- Patricia (Sampson) Burns Added My Brother has my Mother's '68 Ford Mustang. It is in beautiful condition. He drives it now and then and goes to cruise in now and then. The '57 LADY sure has kept her car in very good shape. My Dad would have loved to se it.
