Some unexpected events in today's video... you may even cringe a bit...

Comments

  • Sharon Added Heart warming
  • Trish Added A little over protective I think, but hey the dog is doing what she thinks is right.
  • Carol Segal Added Looks like a very smart dog took good care of that cat!
  • Craig Added Sign that dog up for child care! Keeps the baby warm, gives it a bath, and drags in a meal for the tiny fluff ball!
  • Rafael A. de Echeandia Added So incredibly unbelievable. Great story. Beautiful dog and cat. thanks for leting me see it.
  • BA Added I think the rat is dead. Don't know if it was found dead or not. I fear the cute dog may unintentionally kill the cat by swinging it bey the neck when carrying it.
  • Nydia Added I couldn't stand the way the dog carried that kitten around like it was a toy. Poor thing.
  • Gayle Ingles Added Loved the video. Not the dead rat. Music does not add to video.
  • Doug Added Back in October (2021) i was getting ready to mow an elderly lady's grass, and my wife looks me as i'm drinking water, and asks "why are you making that noise"?, i looked at her and said "what noise"? i'm drinking water. Well, my wife turns around and there is about a two week old kitten that was abandoned by its mother. The source of the noise. He is all black, and the only survivor from his family, as a couple of days later i went back over to see if there were anymore, and his 5 siblings were dead on the lawn. The lady who lived there passed away last year, and i was still mowing her lawn, so there was no one there. A couple of weeks later we stopped by and there was one more kitten that we found, and she was a doll baby, but unfortunately she did not "thrive", and i was forced to put her down. It about killed me that day. Squeak (hence the sound my wife heard) is thriving good now, as it was touch and go for a few weeks. We have a dog that Squeak sleeps with, and Pepper treats him like a pup, cleaning him, protecting him. Somehow she knows he's just a baby. She is a Corgi Dogo mixed with a Rotwieler face. She was the only pup that my 1 1/2 year old could handle, and the pup grew into a beautiful dog, that protects all of us including the cats. She never has put one in her mouth, or tried to carry one, she always careful. I agree with a lot of these posts, cats don't like water, and the kitten could have drowned, and it's not cool for the kitten to be carried the way this one was. In the end i believe that dog and cat will always be together till death.
  • Abigail Added I heartily agree with Lynne and Mimona. "A kitten is not a toy for a dog."
  • Mimona Added I am a cat lover as I have rescued 6 kittens and have 3 other cats adopted so I have 9 cats at home and when I watched this video I was not very happy how could they let the dog handled this tiny kitten ! Don't get me wrong I love dogs too but this was a bit too much for me to watch !
  • Lynne Henderson Added What kind of a person lets a dog do this to this poor kitten. The poor little thing could have drowned. A kitten is not a toy for a dog.
  • David Added That was the worst background music I have ever heard on a video!
  • Janet Added The dog showed compassion for the kitten, plus intelligence. A beautiful story.
  • Randy Ferguson Added Excellent video, Mel!!! I love this loving, amazing, caring, Golden Retriever! How thoughtful to bring the lost or abandoned kitten home and adopt it for its own. Then to give it a bath and bring it a rat, was over the top, in my opinion. It may have been a little soon for the kitten to handle, but a kind and caring jester, indeed. I enjoyed this video so much; I think I'll watch it again.
  • Barbara Added Kittens are to be carried by the scruff of the neck, not the entire neck. The dog clearly loves the kitten but best to be careful.
  • Lovey Added did not like the rat part but the kitten is adorable and the dog very smart
  • PAUL Added ANOTHER GOOD ONE MEL, DON'T STOP, I READ EVERY ONE!!
  • Wallii Added Precious.
  • Stormet Added The cat in the water bucket was uncomfortable to watch and the rat was gross! Other than that, it was ok.
