Mia owns a sanctuary farm where she rescues animals. She got word that an older couple who did not understand how to raise Emu’s wanted to get rid of them. She instantly stepped in and brought Wootanany and Truganini home. At first they were a bit skittish but slowly they began to learn the dynamics of the farm and now they live a happy and full life together.
