Mae Lanna and Sao Yai met at Elephant Nature Park. They have been best friends for many years. We are visiting them in their daytime home on the mountain, bearing a gift of a giant fruit cake. Their surroundings are beautiful. Every day, they walk into the forest to forage and explore. Mae Lanna is blind. Fortunately, she has her lifetime companion, Sao Yai, to lead her through the jungle.
