I had a dog not that long ago that I kept arguing with the vet that something was wrong. I tried to manage him per the vet and was just so not happy with the outcome. Wasted three months. I found another vet only to immediately get the diagnosis of advanced cancer and had to let him go right then and there. I refused to let him suffer any longer. I was furious (with the first vet) for having robbed me of the ability to give my boy a really special last chapter. So, I truly understand how important those last days/months are when your pet is truly a family member. Lita deserves all the love & attention she is getting. I get why you are doing it, and you won't regret one minute of it.
