This is our haunting Harp and Vocal arrangement of "Leave No Man Behind" from Black Hawk Down (Hans Zimmer). We filmed at an incredible military museum full of artifacts from wars past. The rows of decaying tanks, helicopters, APCs, and other military vehicles seemed oddly fitting - like a cemetery of metal. We arranged this massive orchestral soundtrack piece for just two harps and added vocals for a more somber and emotional tone. This Veterans Day, and every day, we thank and honor those who have served. “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” ~ John F. Kennedy
Everything you hear in our arrangement is exactly how we can perform it live with our 2 harps and voices: no backing tracks, loops or overlays. Please let us know if you enjoyed “Leave No Man Behind” by liking the video, favoriting, leaving a comment, and sharing it with your friends. We will continue to go where no harps have gone before! Please subscribe and stay tuned for more of our radical Duet Harp Revolution!
