This beautiful female jaguar is just over two years old. Nicknamed Marcela, she lives along the Corixo Negro, or Black Channel, one of the many tributaries that cross the vast wetlands known as the Pantanal in Brazil, and she is an absolute star.
Her amber-coloured eyes are particularly stunning, a family trait and inherited from her mother Amber (or Medrosa) whose amber-gold eyes are renowned in the region.
