All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Description

A Connecticut homeowner is working to have a bear removed from her property. The animal is sheltering in the hole of a tree in the backyard. “He thinks he owns the tree,” said the West Hartford resident. WVIT’s Mike Massaro reports.

Comments

  • Tom Linton Added COOL! The kids teddy bear.
  • HAROLD J.Vn luven Added than you MEL,
  • Monty Meier Added If you feed him he'll probably become more friendly. I understand the peoples concerns about children being around but he didn't look like a threat to me. I'm an animal person myself.
  • Mary Jane Added I don't know if the tree would be warm enough for him to hibernate in, but if it is, they should just let him or her be.
  • mercedes Added I hope the bear relocates to a safe place he can hibernate in!
  • Allie Added Bears need a home too. I feel sad about the bear, needing a safe place to live but making a choice people don't agree with. I hope the "removers" find a safe warm place for the bear to live.
  • Lola Added WOW!!! Well I don't think I would want a Bear as a neighbor, but to each his own I guess~ Loved the Video. It was cute.
  • Barb Added So what's the problem? Let him hibernate and, in the Spring, if he's still hanging around, relocate him to a safe, wooded area. Just leave him alone.
  • PEGGY Added LOL , Dixie White . Good One :) But my thoughts exactly, let the bear rest and hibernate. Relocation is a must ..not only good for the bear but as well for everyone there in the neighborhood . He's really cute though and wish the bear happiness and long future ahead .
  • Dixie White Added He's too sleepy to try to find a pic-a-nic basket!
  • Randy Ferguson Added It seems that the bear does own that tree. At least for now it does. I hope they don't relocate the bear until hibernation is over.
  • Patricia Yager Delagrange Added Wild !!!
  • Su Added Typical. He's been there for several weeks. Everyone is "concerned" but no one mentioned that he's actually threatened anyone. Let him sleep. He won't be dangerous until he wakes up, by which time they should have figured out how to contain him and where to drop him off. It's sad how humans go wherever they want and then get uppity when the natives fight back. (OR move in.)
  • Paul Added The hood is not sure about him! :)
  • Sher Added Dangerous but, still pretty darned cute! :)
  • Beth Added Poor bear - hoping relocated to the right place for the bear, and keeping the humans safe!
