Country folk music is alive and well! Beautifully done, thanks.
Such a lovely duet. Seems like a very old country hymn and they performed it beautifully. What a treasure.
The family worship team at my church today, The Katina's, lost their father yesterday. This song is quite the perfect song to honor a very good man that the Lord just called home. We grieve the loss and celebrate his homecoming. RIP sir.
Thank you, Mel. Merry Christmas season to all.
Such a beautiful song and well performed. Some 70 years ago, when I was just 16 years old, I remember my granddad singing this very same song in church. Thanks for the memories, Mel.
https://www.amish365.com/ben-and-rose-the-amish-country-music-duo-captivating-he arts-worldwide/ Follow up: I researched tis lovely couple because I know from Rose's bonnet that they are Amish. They are Old Order Amish. Having been to Pennsylvania Amish/Dutch country many times in my life, I recognized their faces and clothing. So, I share with you something about Ben and Rose and the conflict of religion versus musical technology. It is an interesting essay. God Bless this young couple!
Once again you send us blessings via this lovely hymn sung by this couple. Thank you.
A sweet old song indeed! Why didn't Rose strum her guitar also? that would have given more truth to the song.
Beautiful song, beautiful scenery, beautiful people.
I LOVE these 2--they sing like angels themselves!! Thanks for sharing Mel
Mel thank you so much. What a blessing you have given us.
