I bet Bob gets to speak and work with all kinds of people from all over the country (maybe the world) as they look for replacement parts while doing a re-build. I would imagine he has some pretty cool stories from over the years. Indeed, holding on to a time when life was so much better than the whack-a-doodles out there today holding the attention span of gnat. Thanks for the adventure, Mel.

GROWING UP IN WESTERN PA. IN THE 50'S & 60S THERE WERE SALVAGE YARDS LIKE THIS ALL OVER THE PLACE - THEN CITY PEOPLE STARTED MOVING IN AND THE PUSHED FOR ZONING LAWS THAT MADE RUNNING ONE OF THESE "AMERICAN TREASUERS " IMPOSSIBLE !!!

My first dozen or so cars were all pre-70's. This is an interesting video for me to watch. I never saw a "Texas Country Reporter" video that I didn't enjoy.
This is a very important job, I raised 5 sons on a salvage yard. Now there is the oldest one still working at a salvage yard.
