Yep ! I remember all of them. Yes it was the good old days.
I ditto the other comment s
Life really was more fun way back then.
I remember all of them, and am glad that I do. Life was so different then, and lots more innocent and fun. Good old days is right!
remember every single one of these.
Very enlightening!!!!
Great!!! Loved the Video.
That certainly brings back memories!!
I used to have fun with those rolls of "caps". We would just lay them on the sidewalk and then hit the little dot with a rock (or dad's hammer) and it would 'explode' with a loud bang. Not dangerous though, as they were too small. Noisy, yes. I do remember and owned (or did) all of the rest of the items shown. (I'm 80) My folks always told me that someday, the years of my childhood would be the "good old days". I laughed then. Not so much now.
I used to work in my Dad's garden. 110 temp and humidity, plus no breeze. It was like dying and going to hell.
good memories
Interesting!!! Thanks for the memories.
HI MEL , GREAT VIDEO !!
️
I WATCHED MY NEIGHBOR CARRY A "SMOKING " TELEVISION OUT OF HIS HOUSE AND THROW IT IN THE YARD DURING A THUNDERSTORM . ( IT WAS STRUCK BY LIGHTNING )
OVER THE YEARS I'VE KNOWN OF SEVERAL MORE LIGHTNING STRUCK TV'S .
IT REALLY COULD AND DID HAPPEN !!!!!
I remember all of these. Plus, I know the man who invented the Weebles! (We were classmates.)
Thanks, Mel.
I am glad you never put a cherry bomb in a toilet {:-
My phone number was 1170J2. It was a 3-party line so others on this line could be listening to your conversation. To call someone, we picked up the phone and a switchboard operator would say "number please" and we told her the number we wanted to call. Simpler, happier times.
I remember it all too well. Great video that took me back.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane - knew ALL of them!
Me too! Holy smokes!!!
I recognized every one of them. Great memories.
