COOL CRAFTS FROM CEMENT

We love making crafts from different materials. Today you will find a collection of ideas from polymet clay and concrete. Sometimes, cement and concrete are overlooked as people think that these materials are hard to use. Believe or not, but cement and concrete are one of the best materials for crafting. And both materials are quite simple to use. You can make a whole collection of decorative items like vases, planters and even furniture. Let’s make together a trivet for your kettle using silicone mold, drinking straws, and cement. Watch our full tutorial in this video. Do you need to buy a stool? You can make it at home and this project is pretty easy. You will need a bucket, three wooden legs, concrete and sticky tape. Mix cement according to the instruction on the package in the bucket. Once the concrete is settled, place legs inside and secure them using sticky tape. Wait till the concrete has fully hardened take the stool out of a bucket. Now you have a perfect stool, also, you can paint it in any color you like.
You can make small concrete letters for a Birthday or big concrete letters to decorate home or office. You will need cardboard to make a mold and wrap them in a few layers of tape to avoid a leak. Pour concrete mix inside the letters and let dry. Remove the cardboard and enjoy! You can also use concrete letters as bookends.
One more cool material to create is polymer clay. You can create different handmade accessories like cute bowls for jewelry, a holder for pencils, a dish for a soap bar.
