All the videos on my website are embedded from Youtube. From what little information I can find Youtube is testing turning off videos for certain users that are not logged into a Youtube account or using a VPN to view videos. If you have a Youtube account, please try logging in and see if you can then view the videos on https://mvotd.com. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off to view the videos. There are a few other work arounds but they are pretty confusing to use. If you have the skills you might try searching Google for "Youtube Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" for a fix. I didn't see any that looked easy. Our best hope is that Youtube completes their test and realizes this is a big mistake. Until then, please check in daily to see if you still getting the error message. Sorry it took so long to figure out what was going on with this. Mel

Best of both worlds: incredible sleek design of the 1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster mated to modern performance, comfort, and reliability. Speedster Motorcars is considered the best speedster replica made. It's not a kit, each one was professionally assembled. Only 5,324 actual miles on this beautiful example. Not many were made total, and this is reportedly 1 of only 2 that are supercharged.
EXTERIOR: Art Deco design at its best. It looks fast sitting still! High quality fit and finish. The body is straight with no damage or problem areas. Gorgeous paint scheme of metallic red and pearl white. Fully dressed in the simulated super charger pipes, low slanted windshield, Auburn scuff plates, dual spotlights with mirrors and fog lamps. Polished stainless bumpers and brackets. Dark red cloth convertible top and a matching tonneau cover. The top offers more headroom than the original. This one also has power windows, much easier than the original snap on curtains. It is rolling on sparkling chrome wire wheels and bright whitewall radial tires.
INTERIOR: It is a comfortable interior. It's roomy and well laid out. Power leather contoured seat with headrests. The dash is adorned with burlwood and machine turned trim. It has a full set of Stuart Warner gauges. The polished tilt column has a billet steering wheel with matching burlwood rim and an Auburn center emblem. A retro stereo and a/c vents are neatly installed. On the floor is rich red carpet with bound edges, a Lokar shifter and e-brake handle.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is running a Vortech 5.3L V-8 with a twin screw GM supercharger. The original Speedster was supercharged so it is very befitting that this one is too.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Behind the seat is a carpeted storage area that is also home to the top.
UNDERSIDE: It's exceptionally clean, obviously a sunny day driver. It uses a custom fabricated square tube frame. Up front is independent suspension with tubular control arms, coil over adjustable gas shocks, rack & pinion steering. In back is a four-link system also with coilover adjustable gas shocks. The dual exhaust has original style stainless tips. It has a composite fuel tank with electric pump and inline filter. Disc brakes at all four wheels, it has an e-brake and stainless braided hoses. Looking up at the motor it's an aluminum oil pan and high torque starter. The trans is a 4L60E overdrive automatic. In back is a Ford 9 inch rear end.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and found a loose plug wire, tightened the fog lamps knob, repaired a window track and fixed a snap on the top.
Imagine seeing this car in 1936! Compared to everything else on the road back then it would be an incredible sight. The sleek lines, a supercharged motor, and a guarantee it would do over 100 mph, this was a Super Car! Playboys, and celebrities owned these cars. Today it has that same wow factor with much better technology. You want to make a statement, this will do it!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
