20 miles on a meticulous, body off frame restoration. #s matching motor and trans. Highly desirable factory red over red! One of the nicest restorations I've seen on a Corvette.

EXTERIOR: Outstanding fit and finish. The body looks pristine; it's absolutely straight. I don't see any damage, cracking or body work showing. All the gaps are proper. Headlight and wiper doors open properly. Repainted its original Millie Miglia red and it is polished like red glass. I don't see any chips, cracks, or scratches. Even the jambs are painted slick. The exterior chrome looks new. The bumpers, emblems, correct antenna, mirror and stainless around the windshield all sparkle. The front-end grills and chrome line up nicely. It still has the weather shields protecting the headlights. New weatherstrips and seals. New glass. 15x8 rally wheels look like new and they have reproduction Firestone Wide Oval tires. New black convertible top, the frame was repainted and has new weatherstrips.

INTERIOR: Gorgeous factory red interior. Carpet is new front to back. The seats were recushioned and upholstery. The door panels and visors were replaced. The center console is restored like new. Actually, the entire dash area is mint. The instruments all work. Tilt telescopic column with a new deluxe wheel. Seatbelts were restored. It has its original Am-Fm radio. It's like new down to the little bits and pieces.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Vin number matching 350 motor. Completely restored and detailed to factory specs. It has the factory manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner, ignition shielding. Factory air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. Every component looks like new: the carb, vacuum lines, actuators, radiator, shroud etc. Right down the little parts it looks new.

UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted from the chassis and every component was disassembled, stripped down, rebuilt, and detailed. Independent suspension front and back. All new bushings, springs, shocks, steering components etc. Disc brakes at all for wheels, the entire system has been restored. Factory correct dual exhaust, the tips go out through the valance. Looking up at the motor it's spotless Chevy Orange, the starter and fuel pump look new. Original vin # matching Turbo 400 transmission has been completely restored. The original 1972 tag is riveted to the side still. The drive shaft and axle shafts have new u-joints. The fiberglass floors are pristine, all painted black. Spare tire carrier is complete. You could eat off the bottom of this car.

If you really want the best, here it is. This restoration is thorough, look in the nooks and crannies and you will agree. To duplicate this, you would have to find a red #s matching Vette with a/c, that will cost you about $40,000. Then you will wait a year to get into a good shop. Another year later and several checks written totaling about $100,000 you might have a car as good as this one.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
