Genuine R code Boss 351, documented with original invoice and deluxe Marti Report. It was rotisserie restored to factory condition. One year wonder and only 1,806 were made total. This one has been featured in Motor Trend Classic magazine.

EXTERIOR: Probably the most "fastback" of all the fastbacks, the rear window practically lays flat! The long front end features functional dual scooped hood. This body is excellent, 15 year old restoration and still no issues. It is a clean and straight body that fits right. Repainted its original Grabber Yellow color and it's smooth and glossy. The Boss has almost the entire hood painted satin black. The side stripes and Boss 351 call outs are decals. The bumpers were replaced, the trim, glass, weatherstrips all look great. The tail panel is blacked out and features a racing style gas cap. The front spoiler is standard, the rear one was optional. This one was born with chrome Magnum wheels. These reproductions sparkle and are wearing reproduction Wide Oval tires.

INTERIOR: Restored from carpet to headliner like factory new. It features the deluxe interior with molded door panels and high back bucket seats. This one has the optional sport deck rear seat that folds flat. The carpet has the correct sewn in mats. The dash area is mint and includes a factory tachometer. The factory Am 8-track radio is still in place. The center console features a clock and a Hurst shifter with a T- handle.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This high performance 351 was designed to rev high with a 4 bolt main block, solid lifters, high performance cam, magnufluxed rods, 11:1 compression pistons, large port heads, aluminum high rise and a big 750 carb. The crankshaft and rods were hand selected at the factory. On top is a functional ram air system. The air cleaner is complete right down to the heat riser. It has the rev limiter, dated plug wires, reproduction stickers, hoses, and clamps. The Bosses were decorated with aluminum valve covers. It is detailed out real nice, all the finishes are correct and smooth. It features power brakes.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is smooth and glossy. Inside is clean and complete. Reproduction mat, weather strip and decal. It has a trunk light, collapsible spare and jack.

UNDERSIDE: Clean metal sprayed in red primer and cleared. The components are all painted the correct finishes including assembly line markings. The front end steering and suspension was rebuilt. It has the competition suspension which includes staggered shocks in back. The exhaust has a crossover pipe, Magnaflow mufflers and turn down tips. The fuel system was replaced. It has disc brakes up front, the e-brake assembly is hooked up. Bottom of the motor is clean. The fuel pump and starter looks correct, it even has a Motorcraft oil filter. Correct wide ratio 4-speed manual trans. In back is a performance 3.91 traction lock rear end.

SERVICE: We inspect each car. This one got a new throttle cable, new horns, defrost knob, new rear end bearings and axle seals. We calibrated the speedometer and fixed the reverse lights.

The Boss 351 is considered one of the stoutest street Mustangs and a strong performer, and it retains a place of honor among Mustangers!
