Only 115 miles on a show quality, body off frame restoration! Very desirable features from a/c to factory bucket seats with a console.
EXTERIOR: Clean, straight body with no rust or damage. Repainted original period colors that look great on this truck. It is decked out with all new Cheyenne Super trim. All new glass, gaskets and weatherstrips. The fuel filler was relocated behind the marker light. It has a great looking lowered stance sitting on new 20 inch Billet Specialties wheels and tires.
INTERIOR: It's a sharp looking interior! The metal was repainted. Rare factory bucket seats and an original console. The seats are recushioned and upholstered in deluxe houndstooth. New deluxe door panels, carpet, visors, and headliner. You will be looking at a sharp dash with new dash pad, instrument bezel, heater control panel and a complete set of factory gauges including a tachometer. There's a tilt column with a custom wheel. Tuned are supplied by a Kenwood stereo with enclosed 6x9 speakers behind the seats.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 350-350 hp GM crate motor with an Edelbrock intake and carb, HEI ignition and a set of headers. It features a restored factory air conditioning system. It also features power steering and brakes. All the metal surfaces are neatly painted.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the bed is mint, painted to match the truck. The tailgate functions properly.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame so the underside could be restored to like new condition. All the steering and suspension has been completely rebuilt. It has a lowering kit, upgraded sway bar in front and a panhard bar in back. Custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The brake system was gone through, disc in front, e-brake is hooked up. A custom fuel tank was relocated under the truck. Looking up at the motor it is still immaculate, starter looks new. It has a heavy duty Turbo 400 automatic trans that we had completely rebuilt. New custom drive shaft going back to a 12 bolt rear end. All the chassis is detailed in black; the underbody is pristine metal painted the same color as the truck.
SERVICE: We inspected the truck and had the trans professionally rebuilt, replaced the thermostat gasket, adjusted the choke and carb, aligned the alternator and replaced the belt, adjusted shift linkage, calibrated the speedometer, fixed the horns, aligned and flushed the power steering pump. We serviced the air conditioning with a new evaporator, compressor, expansion valve and we recharged it with Freon. We spent $4,809 getting it dialed in.
I love this truck! The quality and options are impressive. The colors are very fitting and separate it from the others. The restoration would cost more than we are asking and it's ready now!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
