Body off frame restored! #s matching motor with upgrades. It's a genuine SS as designated on the cowl tag! The 70 Chevelle SS is probably the most cloned car out there. You cannot verify if it's real by the numbers, or so you thought! Only the cars built at the Leeds plant have a letter L which designates it is a Super Sport which this one has.

EXTERIOR: This is the poster child for the muscle car: a red with black stripes SS Chevelle! The body is immaculate, the door open and close effortlessly. Each side is laser beam straight, the gaps are like a Mercedes. There's no rust or damage. It was repainted Cranberry Red with no vinyl top and it is slick. The black stripes are applied correctly and they're smooth to the touch. It looks like all of the trim has been replaced: up front the emblems, grille, headlight bezels, lenses and racing hood pins. The wheel well moldings, the stainless trim around the windows and gutters, door handles and in back the bumper, emblem, taillight lenses have all been replaced. All the weatherstrips and window seals were replaced along with the windshield. It is sitting proud on a set of 15 inch SS wheels wrapped in BFG tires, extra fat in back.

INTERIOR: It has a complete reproduction interior. The seats have firm cushions and are reupholstered, the headrests and chrome trim looks fresh. Down on the floor it has fresh carpet and SS embroidered mats. The door panels and window cranks were replaced. It has a new deluxe wheel and rear view mirror. The dash looks original with factory gauges including a tachometer. An oil pressure gauge has been added. There is a stereo mounted below the dash that's operated with a remote and has 6x9 speakers in back.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's a pretty motor! It's actually a vin number matching, date code correct 396 making about 450 horsepower now with its performance build. It has aftermarket aluminum heads, a Stealth intake with a dual feed Holley carb that has electric choke, an MSD ignition system and a set of coated headers. It's dressed up in some really nice finned aluminum valve covers and chrome air cleaner. The front of the motor has nice clean components and brackets. It features power steering and power brakes. Upgraded polished aluminum radiator with a chrome cover on top. The shroud and clutch fan look new. Overall very clean and tidy.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted. The weatherstrip and stickers were replaced. Inside is immaculate metal with a very neatly applied spatter finish and a reproduction mat. It is complete with an SS wheel for a spare and a restored jack assembly.

UNDERSIDE: It's even beautiful under the car! The immaculate metal floors and frame are all painted a smooth gloss black. It has the F-41 suspension which includes front and rear sway bars and boxed rear control arms, traction bars were added in back. The great sounding exhaust has fatter pipes, a crossover and Flowmaster mufflers with the correct SS tips. The brake system is in excellent shape with disc in front and new e-brake cables. Looking up at the motor it has a chrome oil pan and a high torque starter. You'll be shifting gears through the Muncie 4-speed and the rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a 12 bolt rear end with a 3.73 posi.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.

CONCLUSION: Who doesn't love a red 70 Chevelle SS? This one is gorgeous and runs strong, what a pleasure it will be!
