The top dog of the muscle car era: an LS-6 Chevelle! Rated at 450 hp that was the highest of them all including the hemi. This Chevelle has only 170 miles since a body off frame restoration to LS-6 specs from the correct motor and rock crusher trans to the 6,500 redline tachometer and the deep groove pulleys. Date coded correct parts throughout. Rare factory color really sets it apart from the others. All this in a 1970 convertible makes it one of the most desirable muscle cars you could ask for.

EXTERIOR: What an eye-catching color combination! The misty turquoise paint color is one of my favorites and you never see it. Before painting the entire body was sandblasted and restored. The paint has been applied neatly and looks fantastic. The racing stripes are painted under the clear coat and smooth to the touch. All the body panels are aligned nicely with good gaps. It has an actual cowl induction hood with the flapper door. A new windshield was installed. All the other windows are in nice condition and very clear. The correct SS grill looks to be restored. The headlight trim rings, front and rear bumpers all look like new. Several of the other trim pieces do look original and are in great condition. The correct SS wheels are date coded and are wearing reproduction Wide Oval Firestone radials. are reproductions. It has a white power top in great shape. You'll turn heads everywhere you go in this vehicle!

INTERIOR: I love the sheen of this pearl white interior! It's absolutely gorgeous in contrast with the misty turquoise paint. A combination of new reproduction and clean original parts were used for restoration giving this interior a pleasing factory look. All the seats have been reupholstered with matching vinyl. The front buckets have a nice fresh feel when sitting on them. The door panels have been replaced and include the correct SS badging. The carpeting has been replaced and looks great. The center console looks original and in fantastic condition with a correct flat bar Muncie 4-speed shifter sticking out of it. The instrument panel and dash pad were replaced. It has a set of factory gauges including a correct 6,500 redline tachometer for an LS6. The odometer shows less than 170 mi since restoration. The gauges work except the amp gauge, there are aftermarket gauges below the dash that work too. It has a tilt column and correct SS steering wheel. You'll be cruising in absolute comfort here!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is very nice with a mostly stock appearance. The motor is a correct LS6 with the desirable 512 casting. Correct dated code, the pad is stamped CE which is a warranty replacement block. It also has correct big port heads matched to an aluminum LS6 intake with a dual feed Holley carb. A functional cowl induction air cleaner sits on top. Correct, fuel lines, valve covers, exhaust manifolds and deep groove pulleys. It also features power steering and brakes. All the components look fresh and proper. The underside of the hood has the proper components to complete the cowl induction. The metal surfaces are painted the correct satin black. as well as the fender wells and firewall. The hinges look fresh as well as radiator with fan shroud. All the hoses and wires are run neatly the way the factory would have routed them. Any way you look at it this is an exceptional engine compartment!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk compartment has been completely restored along with the rest of the car. The bottom side of the trunk lid is painted body color and smooth just like the paint. Reproduction stickers were added. The weather stripping has been replaced. The trunk pan is rust free and spatter painted neatly. It has a full-size spare with a jack. Matching mat and tire cover.

UNDERSIDE: Nice, clean looking body off frame restoration. It has the F-41 suspension which includes front and rear sway bars and boxed rear control arms. The suspension has been completely rebuilt and it even has correct spiral shocks. The front brakes are discs and they look fresh and also have the lines replaced. The rear brakes are drums and are in good shape also. The e-brake is hooked up. It has a full dual exhaust system with flowmaster mufflers and polished oval tips that look and sound fantastic. The gas tank appears to be replaced as well as the straps and hardware. Looking up at the motor everything displays nice and clean, there are no leaks visible. Correct starter and fuel pump look fresh. It has a correct Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" 4-speed transmission.
