Absolutely beautiful car! The body lines, colors, wheels, everything about it is killer. Everyone that sees it will wish they'd owed it. Fresh restoration by Mustang Restorations with excellent fit and finishes. It also comes with a Marti Report saying it was born a candy apple with dark red interior Mach 1. Sold new at Chaffee Motors in southern California.

EXTERIOR: The color! You need to see it in person, it's gorgeous! California car with a clean, straight body that fits right. The metallic red paint looks like wet candy. It is polished like glass. The black hood patch and scoop were painted gloss black. The Mach 1 decals were properly installed. All of the chrome and trim is new or restored. It is sitting proud on a set of Eleanor style wheels and performance tires.

INTERIOR: Beautiful maroon deluxe interior, it really goes so good with the exterior. It looks fresh from carpet to headliner. The high back bucket seats have new cushions and upholstery, the rear folding seat looks just as fresh. The carpet front to back is fresh and fits right. Full set of maroon seatbelts look fresh. Deluxe molded door panels look new and have working lights. The plastic trim is excellent throughout. The headliner and visors were redone, done lights work. The dash pad was replaced, all the bezels, woodgrain, gauges, heater controls look great. A couple of Shelby style SW water and oil gauges were added. Right smack dab in front of you is a Moto Lita Shelby style steering wheel on a tilt column. A retro stereo with door speakers will provide the tunes.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: New Blue Print 408 stroker making 472 hp and 510 lbs of torque! It has forged rods and pistons, roller cam, aluminum heads and intake, Edelbrock carb, electronic ignition and a set of headers. It was an 8 month wait for this motor and has a transferable warranty. It looks like every component is fresh and proper right down to the little bits and pieces. The factory air conditioning has been rebuilt. It also features power brakes. All the metal surfaces are painted smooth.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid, the jamb and inside is all painted the stunning color of the car. New weatherstrip and mat, it's detailed in here.

UNDERSIDE: The steering and suspension was completely rebuilt. Upgraded with rack & pinion electric power steering, gas shocks, Control Freaks control arms, fatter swaybar. The front and back are tied together with welded and countersunk frame rails. The brakes have recently been completely gone through too. Upgraded Baer big, drilled disc at all 4 wheels, e-brake is hooked up. Fresh exhaust with X-Pipe and quad tips coming out the valance. The fuel tank and sending were replaced. Looking at the motor it looks spotless, the starter was recently replaced. The trans was just rebuilt and upgraded to an automatic overdrive. The rear end has new axle bearings. The floors and frame rails appear to be solid metal.

SERVICE: We inspected this car like we do all our cars. We torqued the water pump bolts, replaced a leaky output seal on the trans, repositioned the trans support and secured the lines. We lubed the seat track, replaced a tie rod boot, and remounted the power steering unit.

This car is stunning. I could have gone on and on describing all the details but take my word for it. This car is nice, really nice!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
