This is a marvelous Yenko recreation with a ZZ427 crate motor at the heart of a meticulous body off frame professional restoration! The car also has a practical 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission which makes cruising a breeze. This is an extremely detailed Yenko tribute that is documented with a large folder of receipts. You can get all the aesthetics and abundant horsepower of a real Yenko here but don't need to spend $500,000!

EXTERIOR: This will stand apart from the others being dressed like a Yenko, you never see a 1968! This body is absolutely laser straight and the paint reflects like a mirror! During the transformation the body was restored and the fenders, rear quarter panels, wheelhouses, and roof panel were all replaced. The entire car was stripped down to bare metal then resprayed with a basecoat/clearcoat finish that is in excellent condition. A Yenko fiberglass hood with pins and Yenko emblems were added. The SS stripe is correctly painted on. It has a body colored rear spoiler. All the glass is brand new. All the trim and weatherstrips were replaced. It's rolling on a set of grey 15 inch aluminum American Racing wheels just like what was commonly found on Yenkos, it even has Yenko center cap decals. They are wearing Cooper Cobra radial GT sneakers.

INTERIOR: Everything has been totally redone with this interior and it looks super sharp! The front bucket seats have some extra bolster for a much more comfortable cruising. The seats have been reupholstered with black & white houndstooth upholstery giving it a great look! Down on the floor is excellent carpet with SS embroidered mats and a complete set of factory seatbelts. Up above the headliner and visors are in excellent shape. The dash area is completely restored. The speedometer is a 140 mph like the real Yenkos have. It also has the optional Tic Tok Tachometer. The console has the optional factory gauges and staple shifter, the shift indicator has been updated for the overdrive. A retro stereo fits in the factory hole. It's also sporting a deluxe wheel. There are absolutely no disappointments with this interior!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets really good! A limited edition GM Performance crate ZZ-427 engine lurks under the hood of this beast! It goes well above original Yenko specs and produces 480 horsepower/490 ft lb of torque and features four bolt main caps, a completely forged rotating assembly, hydraulic roller camshaft and more. On top it has aluminum heads, and intake, dual feed Holley carb, high energy ignition, stainless headers and it's dressed in a set of cast aluminum valve covers. A four-core radiator, correct shroud and reproduction hoses and clamps keeps it running cool. Reproduction spring clamp battery cables on the battery. It features power steering and brakes. All the components look fresh and proper, squirters are hooked up. The underside of the fiberglass hood, fender wells, and firewall have all been painted neatly in satin black. Detailed with factory ink stamps on firewall. This classic has got what it takes to perform as good as it looks!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's very neat and tidy! The underside of the lid and jambs are painted just as slick as the car. Reproduction stickers were added and the weatherstrip was replaced. The trunk pan metal is solid and has neatly been painted in a factory style spatter finish.

UNDERSIDE: Thanks to a frame off restoration this car looks good from any angle including its bottom side! All the steering components have been replaced and look fresh with a new center link, tie rod ends, bushings, and hardware etc. The front subframe was replaced and new big block coil springs with Bilstein shocks were installed; the front suspension also has new bushings and hardware. Additionally, it has fresh looking ball joints and an upgraded bigger/fatter front sway bar. The rear has new leaf springs with Bilstein shocks installed to improve ride quality. The front power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors are a much appreciated upgrade. The rear has fresh looking drum brakes and the emergency brake is hooked up. The dual exhaust system has been highly upgraded with stainless steel long tube headers leading into a stainless steel cross pipe that goes back to the Pypes mufflers.
