Only 2,568 miles on a rotisserie build like the awesome "Bullitt" Mustang. The original was driven by macho man Steve McQueen in one of the best car chases of all time, it sold for $3,740,000!

EXTERIOR: This body was stripped to a shell and put on a rotisserie. No patches it received new doors, fenders, trunk, sprint hood and 1/4 panels. It was given a highland green paint that was polished out beautifully. All the chrome was replaced. The windshield is new. Keeping with the Bullitt theme the emblems were removed, the grill has no pony and it's sitting on Torque Thrust wheels. They are new 15 inch and wrapped in BFG tires, a little fatter in back.

INTERIOR: Everything was restored from carpet to headliner. There are some nice upgrades. You will be looking at a set of upgraded gauges including a tachometer. That beautiful Shelby style steering wheel is on a tilt column that was custom installed. There's also a modern Bluetooth stereo connected to 6x9 speakers molded into the rear panels. A custom console with armrest and cupholders is home to the Hurst 5-speed shifter. There's an overhead console to along with a custom one piece headliner. It has some upgraded Procar seats in front which are a bit more comfy and have reclining backs. In back is the fold down 2+2 seat. Everything in back looks new too. Door panels were replaced, new carpet front to back.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 302 had a performance rebuild boosting its power to 350 hp and 330 lbs of torque. Inside it has flat top pistons and a hotter cam. On top it has a set of aluminum heads and intake, a 600 Holley carb with electric choke and an MSD ignition system. It also has a set of headers tucked in on each side. It's dressed in finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. Running cool with a 3 row aluminum radiator. It has power brakes, and the power steering is upgraded to a Borgeson system. Everything is proper, battery is secured, washers are hooked up, all the bolts are new. The engine bay is painted gloss green.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb is painted slick. Inside is boxed and has a carpeted floor. New weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: It received new floors, frame rails and torque boxes, there's zero rust under this car. All that clean metal was painted the same color as the car. The steering and suspension were completely rebuilt, upgraded gas shocks. The brake system was completely gone through, has disc in front and a working e-brake. New exhaust with crossover pipe, Dynomax mufflers and stainless tips going through the valance. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Looking up at the motor it is clean and has a high torque starter. Upgraded 5-speed T5 world Class Tremec trans with hydraulic clutch. A custom driveshaft connects to the 8 inch rear with cruising gears.

SERVICE: We thoroughly inspected the car and adjusted the shifter, fixed horn, replaced outer tie rods and had it aligned, fixed passenger door lock, replaced hood latch, adjusted the drum brakes and lubed e-brake cables.

Mustang fastbacks are already a hot commodity, being a Bullitt tribute makes it that much better! This one's rotisserie restored and dialed in just for you!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
