The colors put this GTO over the top! Aside from that, it has been body off frame restored to factory condition. It's also a New Mexico car that was 1 family owned until 2022, then it was displayed in a museum as part of the famous Blackhawk collection. It is very well documented with Pontiac Historical paperwork, protect-o-plate, original invoice, 2 order forms, a thank you letter, owner's manual, and other miscellaneous original literature.

Exterior: Subtle yet striking! It was repainted the original Palmetto Green and has no vinyl top for a nice clean look. The paint was neatly applied then polished to a shiny and reflective finish. The off-white pinstripe is the perfect accent to the interior. Looking down the side of the body it is nice and straight with smooth contours and sharp lines. The panels have been painstakingly aligned with very nice, tight, and consistent gaps. The doors close easily with minimal effort. The bumpers have been rechromed and the remaining trim has a glorious shine. The front grille is spotless and the taillights are in remarkable shape. The windshield was replaced as well as all the glass that has a light green tint just like when it left the factory. It is rolling on a new set of Rally 1 wheels wrapped in reproduction redline tires that compliment this GTO perfectly.

INTERIOR: Stunning! The Pearl White upholstery has an iridescent sheen that is very aesthetically pleasing. The seats and door panels have all been replaced and are in fantastic condition. The rear shelf, headliner, sun visors, dash pad, and carpeting have also been replaced. The driver's side has a remote mirror. All the gauges look like they have been professionally refurbished, and the working clock has a smooth ticking quartz movement. The gauge bezel has a beautiful real wood veneer and a digital stereo fits in the factory hole. It is equipped with option cruise control that is currently working and it has seatbelts front and back. The steering wheel and center console appear to be good originals that were restored. The dome and center console lights are both working. The GTO embroidered floor mats are a nice finishing touch.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The correct coded and dated 389 cubic inch, 335 hp motor is in place It is topped off with the correct louvered air cleaner and a 4 barrel carburetor. All the hoses and belts have been replaced and it has fresh looking Pontiac Blue paint. It is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The radiator looks refurbished and it has a new heavy duty 7 blade cooling fan. The battery is properly secured and the horns are hooked up. The fender wells and firewall were both neatly painted black and the original trim tag is in place. The underside of the hood was also nicely painted black and is complete with insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick just like the body. It has a reproduction jack sticker and the weatherstrip was replaced. It is equipped with a full-size spare tire, tire cover, jack assembly, and trunk mat. Under the mat is rock-solid, rust-free steel with a neatly applied spatter finish paint.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and every component was rebuilt or replaced. All the steering and suspension has been redone. We have a receipt showing air shocks were added at the dealer in 1966, so air shocks were reinstalled. The brake system has been completely restored including new lines and e-brake assembly. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. It has a nice sounding dual exhaust with polished stainless Thrush mufflers, correct resonators in the tailpipes and optional stainless exhaust tips. Looking up at the motor it is very clean with the correct starter. The correct Powerglide automatic transmission looks fresh. A restored driveshaft leads back to the original rear end with 3.08 cruising gears. The floors are so clean, and they are painted gloss black!

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.

Loved and cared for since the day it rolled off the showroom floor. This GTO has got the right colors, the right documents, the right restoration, and the right look. The choice is clear, this is the right one!
