From the Greg Grams C-2 luxury and comfort Corvette collection. Greg started selling these Corvettes in the early 70s as used cars and kept selling them as they became collector items. Recently he has assembled an impressive collection of 1963-1967 Corvettes focusing on air-conditioned coupes. He has run each one through our shop and they are very functional and dialed in ready to enjoy. He took the time to assemble display boards with miscellaneous literature, NCRS shipping reports, window stickers and more. Each car comes with a jack and spare. Since the early 70s when he started collecting, these cars have not been known to go down in value. Drive an investment!
This one is an example of comfort and luxury with all of its options. Click that cold air on which actually cost 10% of the cost of the car! Put it in drive and let that easy to maintain 300 hp motor take you wherever you desire. The power steering and brakes will make it effortless.
EXTERIOR: I love the sleek lines of the coupe; the boattail back is beautiful. The body is in excellent shape, it is straight and fits right. The headlights open and close, the doors click shut. Repainted its original Ermine White and it has a smooth glossy finish. The chrome sparkles, windshield was replaced. We installed a brand-new set of knock off wheels and radial Goldline tires, they look amazing! Then off course the factory side exhaust looks good and sounds even better!
INTERIOR: Very nice, unabused interior that is partially very good original and partially restored. The door panels are in great shape and the chrome knobs sparkle. The seats were reupholstered and have good cushions. The front carpet is new, rear carpet looks original. The dash area is excellent: gauges are clean and not faded, dash pads are excellent, glovebox is clean. It has it's original working AM FM radio and power antenna. The console looks great, original seatbelts. Rare telescopic column with a beautiful real teakwood wheel. The headliner and visors are excellent. Everything is currently working: gauges, interior lights, a/c and even the clock!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There are some nice comfort features under this hood! Factory Air conditioning, power steering and brakes. It also has a smooth running 327-300 hp motor. It is #s matching including the casting codes and dates, the stamp pad looks good and includes the matching VIN. Overall, it is clean and proper. It looks correct with original manifolds, ignition shielding, valve covers etc.
UNDERSIDE: These came with front and rear independent suspension which both look to be maintained properly. The steering has been redone. It also has disc brakes at all four wheels, the e-brake assembly is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is clean Chevy Orange with correct lower shielding and canister type oil filter. It has a correct Powerglide automatic transmission. Exceptionally clean raw fiberglass floors, most have been painted over. Complete spare tire carrier with a spare. Smooth clean frame is painted semi-gloss black.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and lubed the throttle cable, installed fuel filter, replaced fuel filter, and installed new $4,000 tires/ wheels.
This Corvette is special being a coupe with all these options, especially factory air. Overall, very good condition, I get the impression it has always been a good car, restored and maintained as needed. It functions very well too, it's ready for stress free driving!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
