620 miles on meticulous body off frame restoration! This Vette is gorgeous. Very rich colors, glove soft leather and an upgraded cloth top. Numbers matching motor. It's a pleasure to drive with the smooth running 327, optional automatic trans, power steering and brakes.

EXTERIOR: Gorgeous, very rich looking factory color Glen Green. The body and paint were just finished by a professional that's highly regarded in the area. He believed it to be a no-hit body, it's straight and fits right. The owner bragged about it having no squeaks or rattles. The headlights open and close properly. It's a deep, rich color and the metal flake is all laid out evenly. The clear coat is polished like glass, it looks like you could reach your arm right into it. The exterior chrome is new: the bumpers, bowtie mirror, door handles, emblems, taillights, antenna, gas cap. The weatherstrips were all replaced, the windshield is new. headlights open and close It's really set off with a classy Stayfast tan cloth convertible top. It has a painted hardtop in need of a headliner and window. It is sitting on 15 inch rally wheels with shiny new trim rings and new tires.

INTERIOR: The tan looks great against the dark green. It is premium Al Knoch, glovesoft leather upholstery on the seats and armrest. New cushions for a firm feel. New carpet front to back including floor mats. The dash pads, door panels, steering wheel and visors are new. The instrument panel is mint, the speedometer and tachometer were resurfaced. The odometer was set back to 0 it now has 617 mi since the restoration. The other gauges look great and function, the clock is rebuilt with quartz movement. The knobs, trim, and console are excellent. The glovebox door is good original, there's an owner's manual inside. The interior lights all work, the jack is in the rear compartment, the original radio works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: I just opened the hood and wow this is a very freshly detailed engine compartment. It has its original matching numbers 327-300 HP motor. We check the dates, casting codes and the VIN number on the pad matches the car. The motor was completely rebuilt and upgraded with a roller cam and lifters. It has correct manifolds, valve covers, ignition shielding, air cleaner, carburetor, fuel filter etc. It even has correct hoses and clamps. 2 very desirable options are power steering and power brakes. Every component looks proper and new including the wiring harness. The squirters are hooked up. All the surfaces are painted neatly.

UNDERSIDE: The body was lifted from the frame which was stripped down and powder coated. The chassis was put back together with completely rebuilt suspension and steering. The power steering ram is new. It has independent suspension front and back, upgraded with a composite leaf spring. It has a new reproduction dual exhaust with the polished tips going through the valance. All new or rebuilt brake system with disc at all four wheels. New lines, hoses and e-brake cables. Looking up at the motor it's spotless Chevy orange with correct lower ignition shielding and starter. The correct Powerglide automatic trans has been rebuilt and detailed. The drive shaft is rebuilt and connects to the original dated posi rear end with fresh posi fluid. The raw fiberglass floors were cleaned up very nicely. The tire carrier is complete and has a spare inside.

SERVICE: We inspected this car and it passed through the shop easily. We tightened the seat bolts, adjusted the lock rod and put shorter screws in the grab handle.

CONCLUSION: I aquired this Vette from a local guy that I've known for decades. He is very meticulous, I've bought a few cars from him, all were great and went to happy customers. This one can make you very happy!
