This is one of the first Corvettes built in 1964! It's car #322 which would have been built around the 5th day of production. #s matching 327, correct trans and posi rear.
EXTERIOR: The body looks very nice, I don't see any damage and it actually lines up exceptionally well. The doors click shut, the retractable headlights work properly. It is repainted its original Ermine White color. It's polished very smooth and glossy, there are a few minor imperfections if you look for them. The chrome sparkles: the bezels, grill, emblems, tail lights and rear bumpers look like new. The windshield has been replaced. The black convertible top looks fresh. It's modernized with 15 inch Eagle Alloy wheels.
INTERIOR: The seats are reupholstered in correct genuine leather, nice and firm with new cushions. The door panels look very nice, carpet looks fresh front to back and fits real well. The jack is in the rear compartment. The dash pads are in excellent shape and the full set of factory gauges. They were restored and all work including the clock. New glove box door and liner. The interior lights work. Nice center console with the correct reverse lockout shifter, new seat belts. Excellent steering wheel, it's not cracked. It has a few aftermarket improvements: an armrest with cup holder sits on the original console, a retro stereo fits in the factory hole and a set of embroidered mats protect the carpet.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is the original, VIN #s matching 327-300 horsepower engine with its stock manifolds and valve covers. It is upgraded with an Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke. It was rebuilt and a little hotter cam was installed. It has upper and lower ignition shielding. It also features power steering, which looks fresh. Over all the engine compartment is cleaned up very neat, tidy and proper. The alternator looks new, clutch fan looks new, it has reproduction hoses and clamps, correct dated expansion tank spring and spring clamp cables on the battery.
UNDERSIDE: This is the second year for the independent suspension front and back. Under this car appears to be very clean and proper. The steering and suspension has been well maintained, several components look fresh. We just installed a new reproduction exhaust system with the polished tips going out through the valance. The brakes were rebuilt by the previous owner and are in great working condition, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is very fresh and has a correct starter and canister type oil filter. The correct Muncie 4-speed also looks fresh, it was rebuilt by the previous owner. In back is the original 3.36 posi dated properly to this car. The frame is solid and painted black, the fiberglass floors are clean too and it still has its spare tire carrier.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.
