This Pro Touring Nova really packs a punch! Think about, it's a small lightweight car with a 383 stroker under the hood. The custom chassis, brakes, rear end will handle what you give it. If you’re feeling like a comfortable cruise, it can do that too with overdrive and air conditioning.

EXTERIOR: It has a clean rust-free body. The doors and trunk fit really well. It has a cowl hood that sits a little high in back. The emblems and trim were deleted for a clean look. The paint is a gorgeous custom candy black cherry with a lot of flip flop and metal flake. It's beautiful but if you are inspecting it closely there are minor imperfections. The bumpers and taillights look new. It's rolling on some 18 inch US Mag wheels with performance Nitto tires, extra wide in back. The windshield looks new, the rest of the glass is original, and it's tinted.

INTERIOR: It's pretty much immaculate inside. All the metal trim is painted very smoothly. You'll be looking at a nice billet instrument panel with a set of matched gauges, new knobs, a leather grip steering wheel on a polished tilt column. It has a retro stereo in the factory hole and four 6x9 speakers in back. The a/c vents are neatly installed below the dash. It has a new set of Pro Car sport bucket seats and in between them is a center console with a Quicksilver B&M shifter. The door panels are new, rear seat was custom upholstered, new carpet and headliner.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a firecracker under the hood! A freshly built 383-400 hp stroker by ATK. On top is a high rise Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke and MSD ignition system. Check out how the plug wires run through a bowtie in the valve covers! New set of Doug's coated headers. The front of the motor has a new March billet drive system. This includes billet brackets and pulleys with a serpentine belt, a mini a/c compressor, modern alternator and power steering. The Vintage Air system is new. It also has a Wilwood power brake system. Custom made aluminum inner fender wells, it also has tubular support bars to help prevent twisting. It runs cool with an aluminum radiator, electric fan and a polished overflow bottle.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is painted a smooth satin black, the jamb is painted glossy. Custom cut and glued down carpet. Relocated to the trunk Optima battery with a disconnect switch and a billet hold down. There is also a subwoofer box.

UNDERSIDE: Mustang ll independent front suspension and subframe with Ride Tech coilover adjustable gas shocks, a fat sway bar and rack and pinion steering. Subframe ties and a substantial drive shaft loop bar help keep things sturdy too. In back there's a four link setup with panhard bar and coilover adjustable shocks. It's mini tubbed for the extra wide wheels. It has Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes at all four wheels. Fat stainless steel exhaust with polished MagnaFlow mufflers. New fuel system. Looking up at the motor It has a chrome oil pan and high torque starter. Upgraded 700R4 overdrive automatic by PTI. It has a finned aluminum pan, 2800 stall and lock up converter. New drive shaft. Currie 9 inch rear end with 3.70 locker gears, new bearings. The floors are all clean metal painted a semi gloss black.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the fuel sending unit, calibrated the speedometer, serviced the a/c, had the front end aligned, repaired right rear window and repaired the door locks.

The seller claimed there is $120,000 invested. The body and paint have been done awhile. He just spent 10s of thousands of dollars on the driveline, it's fresh!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
