Rare, stunning colors! Only 766 Made total in this beautiful Horizon Blue and even fewer with the matching interior. It's meticulously restored like jewelry. More than just a pretty face, it has the optional dual quad performance engine, a 4-speed and 3.70 posi rear! Very fresh, recently finished. A thick pile of documentation and photo albums document the restoration.

EXTERIOR: The photos show this car recently taken down to a shell. It was professionally worked to a straight body with precise gaps and no damage. Then it was repainted it's beautiful factory color, we have the paint formula. It was laid out and polished better than when it was born. It just recently got paint correction and ceramic coated, it's slick! Optional white covers really give it the classic look. Every piece of chrome and stainless is either replaced or restored to show quality. All new weatherstrips and gaskets. New glass as well. Completely restored hardtop by Glassworks, $6,300. It's painted as nice, all the chrome, windows, headliner and weatherstrips were replaced. New white convertible top installed by Al Knoch himself. The frame was restored, painted and given new weatherstrips. It is sitting real pretty on a set of reproduction white wall tires. The rims are painted blue and have highly polished correct hubcaps with spinners.

INTERIOR: Genuine leather upholstery installed by Al Knoch himself! It is so meticulously done inside, and it shows. It was completely gutted and lined with sound deadener. So many things you don't see were replaced like wiring, cables etc. The seats were rebuilt with new cushions and the upholstery might look stock, but it is upgraded with glove soft leather. Door panels and all their trim was replaced. The dash was repainted smooth and glossy, dash pad and all the trim were replaced. Completely restored set of gauges, they all work. New steering wheel, visors, mirror etc. correct reverse lock out shifter and the bezel. New carpet and matching mats. Factory wonderbar radio is in place.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Only 300 miles on a complete rebuild. Correct casting code 283 motor with the optional 270 hp which means it has a factory aluminum intake with dual 4 barrel Carter carbs on top. Every part is restored and detailed like new. It proudly wears correct finned aluminum valve covers, polished air cleaner and complete ignition shielding. Correct hoses, clamps, glass fuel bowl etc. upgraded with a new aluminum radiator. It's show quality!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Best C1 trunk I've seen. It is detailed and complete. The entire compartment is painted glossy. Under the floor is a restored rim with a matching reproduction whitewall. It has the complete jack which is seldom included. New rubber mat, weatherstrip and a soft cover. There is also a box of extras and shop manuals.

UNDERSIDE: It is very clean under this car. The original raw fiberglass floors are not painted over and don't appear to be damaged. The chassis is very clean and neatly painted black. The steering and suspension have been gone through, shocks look recent. In back it has correct travel limit straps and swaybar. Correct dual exhaust system going out through the back bumper looks recent, I believe the pipes are stainless. The brakes have been serviced; e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, it has correct starter and flywheel cover. Correct, dated T-10 4-speed trans is clean. Correct coded and dated 3.70 posi rear end.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired the temp sensor, tightened swaybar links and replaced both window regulators. The speedometer runs a little slow.

We have been referring to this car as jewelry, it sparkles everywhere! It stands out with these colors. We have a few hundred of the coolest cars on the planet and this one has been getting compliments from everyone. Looking at it is great, opening up all 8 barrels and shifting those gears is great too!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car.
