Body off frame restoration by Jerry's Classic Cars. If you know who he is nothing more needs to be said. If you don't know who he is, his shop specializes in very high quality restorations of 57-59 Ford's. The gentleman we acquired this car from had Jerry's completely restore this car in 2014. He drove it a handful of times and then it was parked. It was serviced just prior to us purchasing it and we also gave it our own inspection and service.

EXTERIOR: This car is absolutely beautiful, the colors are stunning! I always think of a retractable as a Transformers the way the hardtop roof and trunk lid opens and folds. It puts on a show for people. The body is, no rust or damage. It is painted smooth and glossy with just a few minor imperfections you'd have to look for. When they restored it every piece of chrome and trim were replaced or restored. All the weatherstrips were replaced. Features include dual deluxe mirrors, polished stainless steel fender skirts and a continental kit hanging off the back. It's rolling on radial white wall tires with the deluxe hubcaps.

INTERIOR: It is exceptionally nice inside. I love the tri-tone seats with the silver piping, it matches the exterior beautifully. The seats have been rebuilt, they are nice and firm and the upholstery fits without any wrinkles. The door panels are so beautiful I would hang them on my wall like artwork. The inside metal trim is all painted smooth and glossy. The entire instrument panel, knobs, glove box and steering wheel look great. Everything works including the clock. Nice looking embroidered floor mats on the floor and the headliner inside the retractable top looks new.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay is restored right back to its factory condition. It has a smooth running 332 engine. It's wearing the stock valve covers and air cleaner that have been painted really nice. Features include power steering, electric wipers, and the washer fluid bag. Every component looks proper and clean.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the trunk area is restored meticulously. Really, everything I see in there looks brand new. The metal s all painted slick. Complete plaid liner kit. All of the hydraulic rams, electric motors, wiring, cables look brand new. It has the metal tub in the center, that's where you place things that you don't want crushed by the hardtop.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and all the components were disassembled and restored. The floors are all clean metal and painted in a chip guard that's been color matched to the car. The suspension, steering and brakes were rebuilt. The dual exhaust and the fuel system were replaced. It has the Cruise-o-Matic transmission.

SERVICE: We inspected this car and replaced the needle and seat in the carburetor, adjusted the timing, changed the oil, cleaned the ground to the headlights, replaced the brake light switch.

This beautiful car has been restored by the country's leading expert on 57-59 Fords. You can rest assured it functions as well as it looks. I would assume his restoration cost today far exceeds the cost of this car!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
