Only 2,700 miles since a body off frame restoration! Vintage looks meets modern performance and reliability. This was obviously a no expense spared restoration, look closely and you will see what I mean! That's really why I bought it; the glass, trim, body is show quality. That 454 with an overdrive is an ideal combination for stop light punch and highway cruising.

EXTERIOR: Yeah, it's exceptional. I bought it at a show in North Carolina and even after I bought it I was showing my daughter the trim, glass and details like a true car nerd. The 1 year only body design is arrow straight with no rust or damage. Doors shut like new with new hardware. Painted onyx black and it is polished smooth and glossy, you can shave in the reflection. Every single piece of chrome and trim was replaced or restored. All new glass and even the chrome window frames were replaced. Upfront the hood trim was removed, and the grill was blacked out for a clean look. In back it is decked out with a continental kit and dual antenna. It has a great stance sitting on some polished ET wheels and Cooper tires.

INTERIOR: Completely redone carpet to headliner. The seats were reupholstered in the correct tri-color fabric, in back it still has the cool lift up armrest. Correct door panels too with the anodized inserts. Armrests and handles were replaced. The dash area is completely restored: repainted, new trim, instruments and upgraded with a retro stereo. Air conditioning was neatly installed under the dash. A beautiful polished wood wheel sits front and center of the driver. The headliner and visors were replaced, some lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, there a 454 under this hood! It's also featuring ir conditioning, power steering and brakes. Claimed to be a crate GM 454 with an aluminum intake on top along with an Edelbrock carb and Accel ignition. It has Sanderson headers on each side and up front a complete March billet runner system. This includes serpentine belt with aluminum pulleys, brackets, polished alternator, mini polished a/c compressor and a polished modern power steering. Sure to run cool with an oversized radiator, aluminum water pump, engine fan, electric fan, stainless hose, and polished overflow bottle. There's an entire list of extras: new hinges, billet dipstick, Heartbeat air cleaner and plug wire holders, braided hoses, electric choke and more.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside is all clean metal painted black. New reproduction weatherstrip, seat divider and rubber mat.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension was completely rebuilt, upgraded swaybar. The rear suspension was rebuilt, upgraded shocks. The entire brake system was rebuilt, upgraded to disc in front, e-brake is hooked up. New fuel system including the tank and upgraded electric fuel pump. Custom exhaust neatly bent along the x-frame, Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the motor it still looks new and has a high torque starter. The 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans was rebuilt; it has a vented oil pan. The floors and chassis are all clean metal painted semi gloss black.

SERVICE: After our inspection we replaced the water pump, installed gas pedal rubber pad, replaced power steering hoses, and fixed the brake lights.

Yeah, it has a great option list but what really impressed me is the condition. I look at so my cars, this one is exceptional. It will get better the closer you look! Ok, the 454 is pretty cool too.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
