This is a great looking 57! The colors and features are great. It has some nice upgrades that make it easy to drive too! Same owner the last 16 years.

EXTERIOR: Sharp looking 2 door hardtop with tail fins! It is straight and fits real nice. I think it's a clean, rust free body. The Raven Black black is beautiful, smooth and glossy. It is an older paint with minor imperfections. It's decked out with some nice features. It has dual working spotlights with mirrors, fender skirts, rocker moldings, exhaust tips and bumper guards. Overall the chrome and trim shows well. It has some great looking custom hubcaps on red rims and radial whitewalls.

INTERIOR: The metal has been repainted smooth glossy red. The dash area is very good original. They've installed a modern stereo below the dash, 6x9 speakers in back. The kick panels and carpet were replaced. Reproduction upholstery and door panels. Nice original headliner. It has an Ididit tilt column and a billet Specialties custom wheel. Seat belts were added in front.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Smooth running 292 V8. It appears to be all stock: the air cleaner, valve covers, manifolds etc. It has a two barrel carb, the distributor looks new. It has some upgrades: a Borgeson power steering, modern power brake with a dual reservoir master and a modern electric wiper system. Overall the motor compartment looks clean.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside is boxed and lined in red carpet. The spare has never been used, it's on a red repainted rim. It's complete with the jack assembly. It has a CD changer too. The weather strip is Soft.

UNDERSIDE: The front end steering and suspension looks like it's been completely rebuilt and has an upgraded sway bar. In back it has air shocks and lowering blocks. The dual exhaust has classic cherry bomb mufflers. The brakes have been upgraded with disc in the front, the e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean. It has a Cruise-O-Matic transmission. The floors, rockers, lower quarters all look to be rust free.

SERVICE: We inspected the car and recalibrated the speedometer, replaced the door lock cylinders and installed new custom hubcaps.

I think this is a great looking car with some nice features. Overall it shows beautifully. I also believe it's always been a good solid car. It will make its new owner very proud at the cruise nights, stop lights and ice cream shops!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.
