This classic '57 Hardtop underwent a three year rotisserie restoration with a long list of upgrades. It is now riding on an Art Morrison chassis and powered by a ZZ572! Inside is appointed with all the luxury features and outside it is so beautiful it is going to turn heads everywhere it goes.
EXTERIOR: This is one of the most iconic designs of all times, from the rockets on the hood to the tailfins it is rolling art. This one has rust free metal with precision fit. The door handles were shaved and the doors open by remote. It is painted a beautiful custom mixed PPG burgundy metallic that has a clear coat polished smooth and glossy. At the time of restoration all of the trim and chrome was replaced. It is fully dressed in the top of the line Bel Air trim with gold accents. It also features dual mirrors, chrome tips on the front bumpers, and the trunk emblem has been converted to a 3rd brake light. The windshield was replaced along with smoked side windows. It is rolling on some aggressive looking staggered size Intro wheels: 18s in front, 19s in back and extra wide! They are wrapped in performance tires.
INTERIOR: This muscle machine has a softer side in the interior. It is a full custom design with a luxurious look and feel. You won't want to get out of the heated Wide Guys bucket seats with armrests, reclining backs, lumbar, and 6 way power adjustable. The rear seat is upholstered to match. The custom console has the 6-speed manual shifter with a polished wood knob that matches the Nardi steering wheel. The wheel is on a tilt column and has gold spokes that match the VDO gauges. The dash is painted like the body, has a custom instrument panel and billet trim. The retro stereo is powering a custom set of speakers and there is a CD changer hiding in the console too.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Dang, a ZZ572 Gm Performance crate motor is lurking under the hood of this classic! It produces a reliable 620 hp and has aluminum heads and intake, HEI ignition, coated headers. It is dressed with cast aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. The front of the engine has a polished runner system with serpentine belt. It features air conditioning, PSC high-tech power steering and a polished alternator. The Hydroboost brakes have a Wilwood master cylinder. This beast runs cool with a custom aluminum water pump, overflow bottle and radiator, along with dual electric fans. The engine bay has a custom firewall and radiator support, all painted slick like the car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been boxed and upholstered to match the interior, even the underside of the trunk lid. The relocated battery is hidden behind a panel.
UNDERSIDE: Upgraded with an Art Morrison GT Sport chassis. The frame is boxed and has added supports. Upfront it has tubular control arms, rack & pinion steering. There are Strange Engineering adjustable coilover gas shocks at all four corners, swaybars front and back. A 4 link rear suspension is in back with tubular control arms and it's been mini tubbed to accommodate the fat tires. A Wilwood brake system with drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels, 6 piston front calipers, 4 piston rears and a custom e-brake assembly was installed. A great sounding 3 inch stainless Aero exhaust has crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. A stainless fuel tank is part of the upgraded fuel system. Looking up at the crate motor it's still fresh and has a high torque starter. The T-56 Tremec manual 6-speed trans uses a hydraulic clutch and custom made Grant shifter. The clean metal floors were painted in a color matched chip guard paint.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you the best cars within reason.
This build checks all the boxes, beauty and a beast! Shifting that 6-speed with 620hp backing it up will be a blast. The chassis is set up to handle it, can you? Of course you can, all while sitting in your captain's chair with the a/c keeping you cool and your favorite tunes cranking!
