This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air has an old school, mild custom look with fantastic tasteful options. When Chevrolet released its passenger car line for 1955, complete with an entirely new design, the GM marque kicked off a period now known as the Tri-Five era. At the end of 1955 in November, the second generation, 1956 model year, Tri-Five Chevys were introduced to its dealers. Both inside and out, the new '56 Chevrolets has a brand new look. The Bel Air sat atop the Chevrolet passenger car hierarchy, above the entry-level 150 and intermediate 210 models. The Bel Air came equipped with fantastic options as standard equipment including a clock and lockable gloveboxes. Powering this '56 Chevy is a 265 V8 engine fed by a single 4 barrel carburetor. Backing the 265 V8 is an easy to drive, powerglide automatic transmission. This '56 Chevrolet is loaded with desirable options and tasteful upgrades like power steering, dual chrome outside mirrors and power front disc brakes. The original master cylinder and brake booster were also replace with a more modern booster and dual master cylinder setup which makes for a more reliable braking system. Riding on a set of Keystone Klassic wheels and raised letter radial tires, this 1956 Chevy has an old school look and a great ride cruising down the road. Further adding to the old school hot rod look is the lowered suspension like many hot rods of the day. The exterior on this 1956 Chevrolet 2 door hardtop has been correctly refinished in a beautiful two-tone paint scheme consisting of Crocus Yellow and Onyx Black, completing the exterior appearance of the car. The interior of this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air is absolutely stunning! The front and rear bench seats have been correctly reupholstered in Yellow vinyl with Charcoal patterned cloth inserts, with silver accents. The yellow and black upholstered door panels, black carpeting, black painted dash, and steering wheel all appear to be in wonderful condition and all appear to remain in their stock configuration. The instrument cluster is equipped with a 110 MPH speedometer, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge. The dash is finished with a push-button AM radio, clock, integrated speaker with an anodized Bel Air script emblem, and locking glovebox. Whether you're buying your first classic car or you're adding to your existing Tri-Five collection, this 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air would make an excellent addition. Give us a call today at 763-428-7337!
