Family Rescues Baby Fox In Their Backyard And Reunites Him With Mom Video

Gen found a baby fox stuck in the fence of her backyard. She managed to free him, but it soon became clear that the fox’s mom desperately wanted her baby back. Watch what she does to their backyard when she couldn’t find him.

that's so cute mommy's looking for you i think this is either a fox or a cat stuck into there i don't know how [Music] it was my daughter who filmed she's five years old i just don't know how to get him out actually [Music] he's good it's fine i wanna call it softy you're gonna be okay safety i really want to keep him it's the wild fox they sweetheart oh you are so cute aren't you once i picked it up i stole that it was really quite poorly and when i put it down he couldn't even move we called some of the local wildlife rescue people they were telling us that because of the lockdown they didn't have as many staff and they won't be able to get to how he likes to sleep this is his first walking he couldn't get very far at first he just a few feet it is very much like that feeling of when your child takes its first step you're a bit shocked but so so proud [Music] we just fed him and kept him warm and clean he got stronger really quickly we were hoping to reunite him with his family he looked so much better i left him out there at different times of the day and night but his mum didn't come at that point so this is what happens when you deprive a fox from its family foxy's mum came into the garden and started just going berserk sending us a message and then if you come around here even on the trampoline if you're attacking the uh the foam on the pole so they uh clearly want foxy back trying to think about what she must have been going through to destroy so much of our stuff we thought we've got to give them a good chance of getting back together hello oh he's working as he got his strength back it was obvious that he wanted to get back to his fox family and away from earth just about to release foxy back to his mummy so i'm having a last cuddle we thought the best way to reunite them is if she can hear him calling and that's where we thought of this pulley system idea where we lift the basket up when we saw mama fox with nearby there's dave up there at first post she's right there get your baby get that baby she came into our garden only about 15 minutes after we've called the kids in for birds so she had just been waiting [Music] you can have him come [Music] it was so dark it's difficult to see but we were there watching she picked him up and carried him away we were just elated really that it had worked and that foxy was gonna get a happy ending we still love little boxy and we hope that he's doing great but he's out there being a fox you
