Mel-your the best. I remember all of these and more. I remember before telephone dials, Sending rolls of film thought the mail for processing. I remember when Mc Donalds wouldn't hire me in 12th grade because I was a woman, I remember no sex rules prior birth control, I still have all my report cards from grades 1-12. I could go on and on. I wouldn't trade my memories for anything.

  • Anne

Mel-you are killing me. I remember every one of those!

  • Mary Jane

I remember most of these, nice trip down memory lane.

  • Charlie G.

I'd go back to those days in a HEARTBEAT if I could - even if I had to go back as a 71 year old !!
The thing I remember the MOST , is that for the " most part " - YOU COULD TAKE A PERSON AT THEIR WORD !!! A handshake was enough to close any deal :raised_hand::thumbsup:
And the best part of " INSTANT GRATIFICATION " was making somebody smile or better yet making them LAUGH ???? !!! - THANKS FOR THE TRIP MEL !!
    Stay Safe ! C. G.

I enjoyed going down memory lane---and no, I'm not old! Remember Clint Eastwoods video that you featured--"Don"t Let The Old Man In". Maybe you need to feature it again.

  • Randy Ferguson

Love your videos Mel especially from the olden days and the way things are today. So very different I sure miss those wonderful and carefree days. Also love videos of all the animals too. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the memories keep them coming.

Lol Mel , Age is just a number . I remeber almost all these .. glad I still have a good memory :) I sure miss the drive in theaters and I love them old rotary phones . Guess I'm still little ole fashion . Keeping to my roots i reckon :) Thanks Mel .. And Oh, I still write upper and lower case letters ..which seems to be fading these days .. Rolling with the change never bothered me much .. Have great day Mel and Everyone

  • Janet

I remember all of them except one of the TV shows. Those were "THE GOOD OLD DAYS"
And yes, I'm old. Off and on I do think of the pass, and the way thing are now. Not a happy one.

It was a time when we were all connected through humanity. I feel bad for the generations of the digital age. They will never know the human connection the way we do. That's why they are in large part so broken. Isolated. No purpose. Unmotivated. They run in circles of destruction. They have undeveloped life skills. Don't get me wrong, technology is a great thing. But moderation is the key. Like all things, what God meant for good has been hijacked by satan and it is destructive.

Did you see the Big Mac was $.90! And Meathead is still a moron Meathead. Snow day . . . Yay!! Except your folks made you go out and shovel it. But then, you got to build your igloo.

  • Annette

Yes, I remember them all. Loved seeing the old cars as well!

  • Paul

He's right. I'm getting old. Ha Ha Good video !!

If only we could have a life like this again!

  • Johnny

Being a non-American, these were known, but not common. At the same time, I am still VERY old, and happy to be thus!

  • Darnell

    Boy do I remember

  • RobertLaity
