Here are all the wildlife that used a hiking trail over the course of 1 year in the Northwoods of Minnesota when people weren’t on it! Something peaceful and soothing about observing all the wildlife going about their lives during the various seasons.
The footage used in the video is from Fall 2020 to Fall 2021 from a hiking trail in the Lightfoot Pack (the wolves in the video are Lightfoot wolves!). This video is our third installment in our “One year on a….” trail camera video series where we share all the wildlife footage captured on certain Northwoods features.
The first two installments showed all the wildlife crossing a beaver dam and then traveling down a game trail over a course of a year. We have several more ideas for future installments!
Anyway, we hope this video provides you with a few minutes to just sit, enjoy, and appreciate the natural world!

- Pets And Animals Video Of The Day!
Thank you for taking the time to video and share this.
It was very interesting seeing the way different animals seemed to know what they were doing, but I did not! Looked like they were just looking for a place to go.
It is always interesting to see all of these animals that we don't typically see when we go out into the woods.
Alot of different animals wandering through there.
some great shots .
I wish they would put the name of the animals that are not that common.
This was GREAT! Thanks, Mel!
Thoroughly enjoyed this video - reminds me how much I love nature!
Nice animal life Mel!
Humans are the most invasive species.
lots of cool wildlife
Beautiful animals. and seasonal changes
What a wonderful natural world we cohabitate. Gave me pause, though, even in the natural world, I don’t recall any scene in which there were several species interacting. Guess it all boils down to predictor v prey
A big difference from the two legged animal world , ya think?
I could get used to it pretty quick.
