Video Description:

The sounds of a mating Fish Crow pair calling. They have made a secretive nest in a pine tree high above the Backyard. They are a real blast to have around. Crows are Corvids like their cousins the Blue Jays are considered extremely intelligent. You can here the full repertoire of the fish crow sounds including their nasally uh-uh and shorter uh and ack calls and a call much like the American Crow - they do these pretty much all the time, but they fit right in with the other creatures in the Backyard as you will see in coming videos. They have already learned to come and eat cat food when I knock three times twice - more to come!
