Join me as we take a photographic journey around the United States as it looked in the 1950s!

In this video, we'll be seeing the towns, cities, people, and those beautiful cars - all as they looked like at the time.

These photos show true pictures of daily life in the fifties. Most were not professionally taken - they are just snapshots taken at the time.

Most of these shots would have looked completely ordinary 70 years ago - but they look extraordinary as we look back at them today.

Thanks to the magic of Kodachrome and Ektachrome color film, we're looking at original color photos of the era as it looked back then - (with the exception of about four colorized images.)

    Hi Mel! You know watching these OLD Video's brings back MEMORIES when THINGS were NORMAL! Notice how ALL were dressed? There was such a different Value of EXISTANCE back then with More RESPECT & LOVE for your fellow man! I could go on & on about that being a BETTER TIME in Life, but I'll STOP!
    HEY...one of the pictures was MAYBE from 1960 as towards the beginning I saw a '60 Ford.

    I sure wish they would include New England in these beautiful pictures of long ago that i remember very well. We did have cars, etc. back then. My grandfather had a 1950 Studebaker.

    It actually made me sad. So many varieties of cars - now they all look alike. No bumper to bumper traffic, people walking across the street using crosswalks! Imagine that. I miss those simpler days.

    Darn it! I remember when downtowns and cars and buses looked like that. I'm older than dirt and have a hard time accepting that the era of my life is in the history books! Thanks for bringing the memories to my generation and the reality of change to the next generations!
