Most of the people who appear in this video are long past. The young people, if still alive, are now very old - the children in their 70's. What lives did they live? Were they happy? Were they successful? Did they achieve what they wanted out of life? I don't know - but just watching these scenes from the past makes me contemplate my own life, and appreciate the time I have left.     Only one thing puts a blemish on those memories.
    Not one Black person is shown. Even a few Asians are shown. I did see one black woman mixed in with a crowed street.

    Very good video. I graduated from high school in 58 and remember some of these places when I lived near San Francisco. The Cliff House is gone now.

    Hello Mel! I truly enjoyed the video, but I have a question to ask; can you 'identify' the make, model and year of the car pictured? I am quite sure it is an Oldsmobile; but I have not been able to match it up with any other 'on line' photos...

    So nice to go back in time . . . we were a respected country back then. Today, we look like fools on the world stage. Patriotic & informed leaders then, now, a bunch of fascists running this govt; and tragically turning us into a third-world nation at break-neck speed.
