How a Simple Song Change Made The White-throated Sparrow Stand Out
Listen to just the White-throated Sparrow song at the end of the video
*NOTE* At 2:05, I said, "By 2004, the new song had spread eastward into Alberta." Then I say, "Astonishingly, just one year later, in 2015." Well, that was a mistake, obviously. 2015 is not one year later from 2004! This mistake happened because I got caught up in trying to concise my script down and by accident had taken out a part:" at the time only half the sparrows sang the new song in Alberta, however by 2014 all the sparrows in Alberta were singing the new song." It was after this that I would have said, "Astonishingly, just one year later, in 2015." Oh my, so sorry for the mistake.
