Thanks Mel-Very entertaining.
Very knowledgeable information is gain from this video.
When I was building my last Experimental aircraft at a hanger in south Florida, I had a raven that was a daily visitor. He would "supervise" me by perching on the wing of an already constructed airplane. And, he knew where I kept my snack cookies! He would wait until I left the top of the toolbox open, sail over to it, and take the whole bag of cookies. After I saw him do this a time or two, I started bringing two bags of cookies - and no matter how long the tool box was open, he would only take the one bag.
There were two other birds that were daily visitors, a pair of Sandhill Cranes. They would strut into the hanger like they owned it - if I failed to notice, the male would gently peck the back of my leg to get his attention. I would offer a small handful of dry cat food to each, they would eat, then go on their way. Sandhills are known for eating frogs and mice - quite the omnivore. One of the airport guys accosted me once for feeding them, and was quite astonished to see my Federal Wild Bird handling permit - my day job was as a wetlands and wildlife biologist.
Crows are clever, I only wished they wouldn't drive all the song birds away. They are social together, but not with other birds. They even chase hawks and eagles.
Great stuff! Very smart birds…
Amazing
How wonderfully clever crows are! Have you ever had a crow conversation with one? I have until I got tired of playing his game. They are clever! Thank you Mel.
I just love birds. I had a wonderful relationship with a cardinal - it would come when I called it. I loved it so much. Birds are wonderful animals, as are dogs, cats, etc.
I knew most of this, as I have admired crows, ravens, etc., for years.
Interesting facts about birds that I never knew.
Very interesting clip. God thought of everything for everything when He created everything.
Fascinating clip, Mel...
You're choices, as I always state, are spot-on!
