Video Description:
Classic cars from the 1940s and 1950s are beautiful to look at, but what happened when they crashed?
In this video, we've got a collection of 38 vintage photos that show what actually happens when classic cars crash.
In the days before safety cages, seat belts, airbags, and impact-absorbing guardrails, your life was in your hands when you took to the undivided highways.
These photos show dented cars, crumpled cars, cars wrapped around poles, as well as some unfortunate and comical accidents where nothing was hurt but pride.
Thanks for watching!

Makes me wonder how many fatalities these represent.....
Some of those wrecks were devastating - terrible to see, let alone to be in. One can't help but wonder how many were alcohol related?
Very scary on some of these photos. Makes you wonder how many people lost their lives.
I believe all these autos were great vehicles and safe. Comment, you can not fix STUID!
All they had to do was add seatbelts and increase Driver Education.
Even today, only race cars have safety cages.
Drinking and driving was not the vehicle's fault. People still have food all over the place in their cars.
At least the wheel moved up and out of the way - didn't pop out a bag which can cause sever damage.
If that car had been any smaller, those people would be dead.
In short, this video is pointing the finger in the wrong direction. Every time someone points a finger, three fingers curl back at the finger-pointer.
I love the video. Someone just needs to change the title.

Good One
Good grief!
HI MEL , THIS SOBERING VIDEO REMINDS ME OF THE FILMS THEY SHOWED US IN DRIVERS TRAINING BACK IN 1967 . ONE WAS CALLED "UNSAFE AT ANY SPEED" . THEY WERE MADE TO SCARE YOU INTO SAFE DRIVING HABITS - AND THEY DID !!!!!
STAY SAFE ! C. G.
Just...WHEW!!!
While nice soft music is playing in the background do you realize that in almost every car there's one person or more (including children) that are dead in that car. I saw, on my computer, a dead James Dean--car crash--showing only his head with eyes wide open. I saw Jane Mansfield dead in her car. What you're showing is the poor car--well, THINK ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO DIED!!!!
I've always enjoyed your videos before, but this one is kinda sick.
