Beautiful story but very sad ending.
Great story!!
Awesome - It is so wonderful to see how the animals can get along - but we as people (with a brain) can't get along together...
wonderful story
Wonderful how animals can except humans as being friends. It proves that security is not the only things animals need, attachments to humans give them more caring and love of a different kind. It's too bad that Darling disappeared but it was wonderful while it lasted.
Wonderful story, but sad.
What a beautiful story. It is a sad ending, but it often is, in not only the animal kingdom but the human kingdom too.
I believe since God created all, God receives His own. Darling is in heaven for all eternity. And we will all see her again since she now has a place in our hearts.
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing it.
What a Wonderful Video, even though the ending is sad.. Thank you!!
Thank you for this story Crows are amazing
I cannot believe how smart Darling was. She was alone and found a family. and she became a true friend to all of them. Sadly, it didn't end well, but she left them all with her love.
Beautiful story! Thanks Mel.
Wonderful relationships! When I was building my last airplane, I had a Raven and a pair of Sand Hill cranes to "supervise". The Raven was actually there to steal my peanut butter cookies. And the Sand Hills would proudly display their babies each spring.
Never approved of the unkind words "bird brain" implying a lack of intelligence. I've observed remarkable behavior among many types of birds.
The wonder of a beautiful little soul...stilled.
What an extraordinary gift, Mel... thank you for your heart-mind, as I've often 'said' in the past!
I haven't been on your site for quite some time - mostly because of work. I do wish you a blessed and fun-filled New Year.
Can you believe it is now 2024! Oh my, how the time flies.
Palms joined with a smile,
Jo
Such a somber story, such a smart and clever crow and compassionate dog and cat that seem to enjoy all, but heartbreaking ending
So amazing how nature takes care of it's own and how different species can get along so well with each other.
