If there is something worth jumping on, goats will find it! Especially if their hooves make a good sound when they hit the surface. Today they found our little dingy! They are the most playful curious animals, there is not a day I don’t feel supremely lucky to live in their midst! Even when the world seems upside down, goats give you something to smile about! Lots of you ask why goats jump? I imagine it is for a lot of reasons perhaps the most important being because they can! Who could resist such acrobatics if our bodies were capable of it? Goats are also vegetarians and have no top teeth, like all other ruminants, so they have no way to protect themselves by being fierce with their mouth, so being very agile can be helpful in the wild. Also goats who live in mountainous areas or places without a lot of forage, need to be clever on their feet from the beginning so they can get to a good meal
