Video Description:

During World War II, the B-25 Mitchell became one of America’s most iconic aircraft—flying bombing runs across Europe and the Pacific. Today, fewer than 50 are still airworthy.

In this Texas Country Reporter story, we fly alongside Beth Jenkins, a certified flight instructor and the pilot of Devil Dog, a Marine variant of the B-25 known as the PBJ-1J. As part of the Commemorative Air Force Beth and her team work tirelessly to keep this historic bomber flying and to honor the memory of the young men—often just 18 or 19—who flew it into combat.

With each airshow and public flight, Devil Dog becomes more than a machine—it becomes a living museum, a tribute to the bravery, sacrifice, and skill of a generation. And for Beth, flying it is more than a job—it’s a mission to preserve WWII history one mile, and one story, at a time.

Mel, I enjoy your emails, have to tell you a story on the Sat., Jun7th video. I didn't get to watch it until after 4pm. That morning, I was photographing our local air show in Chickasha, OK and got to meet Beth and take in flight photos of her act. Then I watched your daily video, and there she was! It truely is a small word!
