I was born in 1942--a few years before the "baby boomers" (I think), but I remember all of these. As far as I'm concerned, I'm living in a different world now. I miss the "other" world.
Thanks Mel_I remember them all. In fact, I had milk delivery to my mobile home in 1973! Indeed these were BETTER times.
The days of Beatles. Bonanza. Paying with cash instead of a card. And teenagers didn't wallk around with a phone in their hands.
Love these videos !
♥♥♥♥♥♥
Totally my era. Thank you. I enjoyed this.
I remember all of it. Including the milk man delivering milk, bread and eggs to the house when I was growing up
I remember all, accept the milk man.
SOME BETTER SOME NOT GREAT BUT ALL ARE GOOD, INFORMATIVE OR HUMOROUS T=& TO THE POINT
I remember most of this. Thanks for a great video for Mother's Day!
I remember all of these. Ah, those were the days. Thank you, Mel, for the trip down memory lane.
I remember drive in theaters in the 30’s
I'm a boomer, towards the tail end, but I remember all of these. I don't want to go back to that time. I like what I have now. Just wish the country wasn't so divided now.
Oh Mel~~~Where can I START?
Being born in the 40's I REMEMBER ALL and also EXPERIENCED some of these MEMORIES in 1972 allso!
First~~~1964~~~Watched the Beetles on TV on the Ed Sullivan Show and LOVED their Music at once!! Second~~Took my girlfriend to her First Drive-Inn to SEE the Movie Hard Days Night by the Beetles! Married her in 1965 and then found out she HATES the Beetles!
Fast Forward to 1972 and moving into our second home. We moved in and I saw a "MILKMAN" in front of our home for the neighbors and yelled down to see IF he had an extra milk as we had just moved into ur home the night before and we were really tired from the 50 mile move. He said sure and I was SHOCKED to even SEE a Milkman in Huron, Ohio.
Next Morning i called our parents and all of a SUDDEN a VOICE came on the Line Saying, YOUR NUMBER PLEASE! I said I'm trying to call my parents in Euclid and she said AGAIN....YOUR NUMBER PLEASE! I said what and she then explained that I had to give my number to complete the cal! WOW...I SAID....a FLASHBACK to the 50's in 1972!
God,,,,times were INDEED BETTER Mel and i WISH it was that way again!
OH...my wife also bought me a caculator in 1968 for y business too and I really loved it even though I was always good in math.
GREAT MEMORIES Mel~~~Great Memories!
Good video, but you skipped right over the "Age of Rock and Roll" and Elvis who came first and was bigger than the Beatles.
"Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end."
Yes...remember it all. Those were much happier times.
A wonderful Mother's Day gift. Thanks, Mel.
Oh yes, I remember them ALL! Thanks for the trip down memory lane this morning.
I'm a Baby Boomer 1947 and I remember Elvis way before the Beatles.
